In 1993, Fritz and wife Tootie, started an Emu Ranch in the heart of Maple Valley, and was inspired by the many benefits of Emu oil. Now the ranch is not only home for the Emus, but it has become a healing center where the Hawthorn Massage Clinic is housed. When you arrive at the ranch the first thing you see is a great big beautiful Hawthorn Tree which has become the symbol for the Emu Ranch and Massage Clinic.
Fritz was born, number 8 of 11 children, and raised on a farm in Montana that bordered Canada. He graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Agricultural Engineering and a Commission as a 2nd Lieutenant in the US Army. After his military time, he worked at Boeing Military on B2 Bomber. He left Boeing on January 2000 and started Massage Therapy Training at Renton Tech on January 2000. He became a Nationally Accredited and Licensed Massage Practitioner in October of the same year.
In massage school, Fritz received training in Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Neuromuscular Massage, Therapeutic Massage, and Relaxation Massage. Fritz continued his massage education receiving training in Positional Release Therapy and advance training in Muscle Release Techniquesm from Michael Young, NCTMB, a highly renown and respected Therapist in this field.
Now, Fritz has dedicated his life in guiding clients to facilitate their own natural healing process by bringing balance to their body, mind and spirit. He has helped people suffering from various problems, and not only restored but enhanced their lives.
Fritz's greatest joy is to have a client come to the clinic thinking they need an operation for something like carpal tunnel, plantar fasciitis, tendonitis, sciatica, or back pain and leave the clinic with the pain greatly diminished or gone and realizing an operation is totally unnecessary.
